Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Grocery Supervisor at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels
• Lead a culture of safety and maximizing operational efficiency
• Complete all necessary daily reports, other administrative tasks as required
• Being present on floor to assist with customer questions, complaints, and comments
• Have familiarity will all store operations and supervise the grocery team in their daily duties, as assigned
• Assist with ensuring the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards
• Provide training to all grocery clerks for all store duties and for opening and closing procedures
• Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
• You have grade 12 or a combination of relevant experience; retail sales experience in a supervisory role, especially in the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS) is preferred
• You have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to successfully motivate and work with team members
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
• You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have the ability to fulfill the physical job requirements
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
