Global Liquidity & Funding Management is responsible for reporting and managing liquidity and funding risk for the bank. This includes liquidity management and strategy, stress testing, daily/monthly reporting (regulatory and management). The Bank has implemented a liquidity engine for enterprise LCR reporting to meet OSFI regulatory requirements and established Fr2052a reporting for US regulatory reporting to meet FRB’s regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Senior Analyst, Regulatory Financial Review & U.S Liquidity will be responsible for supporting daily US Liquidity FR2052a production and the production of the daily/monthly enterprise liquidity data reconciliation against EGL. They will also be involved in all related ongoing projects.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Support the daily production of daily US FR2052a including all necessary manual workarounds; provide variance analysis and commentary to management.
- Manage mapping tables that are consumed by LRDC/ISL/APEX/Axiom process for US Fr2052a.
- Review the net new counterparty for liquidity reporting.
- For project releases, assist in establishing test cases, expected benchmarks, and UAT protocols within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for US Fr2052a reporting.
- Assist in preparing business requirement documents and maintaining proper operational procedures.
- Work closely with GWRT to establish resolution protocols with respect to issues arising from the production or project activity.
- Work closely with GWRT to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, perform actual UAT testing activities.
- Document UAT test case results via closure reports on test cases that have passed or recording defects in JIRA for those cases that have failed UAT.
- Establish a regression test protocol and perform the same prior to the promotion of the system build into production.
- Assist in responding to regulator or management queries
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as required
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics required. MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury, capital markets or regulatory reporting.
- Expert knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI,Alteryx
- Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
- Prior experience with liquidity management, projects and bank’s various systems would be an asset.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High performance, pragmatic, detail-oriented team player able to work well in a complex, demanding and fast-paced environment.
