The Team

The Business Enablement (BE) team is a dynamic, impactful team that partners across Ratings to enable the smooth definition, execution and realization of value aligned to strategic goals. This involves optimizing processes & leading initiatives to solve business problems while striving for high adoption of solutions through effective organizational change management & communications. In addition, the team is a key partner for senior analytical leaders to support the Analytical strategy, improve operations of their respective business units and provide a data-driven way to improve performance.

The Impact

This role will be part of a team aligned to the Structured Finance Value Stream. The opportunity to create high impact is driven by a deep understanding of the user experience, tools, and processes - as well as that of external customers – across multiple dimensions of how we operate.

Responsibilities

Leveraging this knowledge, you will partner with Business Owners, Technology, Product, Analytical and Operations teams across multiple areas of responsibility:

  • Operations, performance measurement and governance: Provide leaders/business owners with the reporting required on key performance measures (strategic OKRs, KPIs etc), including governance of the analytical portfolio of initiatives. Provide transparent data to enable rapid decision-making and reprioritization when needed.
  • Process excellence: analyze and optimize key operating by understanding user needs and issues to design efficient and effective business processes.
  • Problem solving and projects: lead initiatives prioritized by business owners in pursuit of strategic goals or resolve issues for analytical leaders.
  • Organizational change management: develop and deploy end-to-end change management strategies across a portfolio of initiatives/changes that impact the value stream, so that teams are actively engaged in change, adopt new solutions or ways of working and improve probability of successfully achieving our goals.
  • Communications and content creation: create relevant, simply and concise content that helps colleagues understand changes, tells a compelling story and enables effective sharing of information. Design communication strategies that ‘connects the dots’ and are tailored by audience, distribution channel, mediums etc to clearly articulate value at both the initiative/strategic level in a cohesive way.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Ratings business and organizational processes
  • Ability to quickly establish trust & influence with key stakeholders/stakeholder management.
  • Process diagnostic and redesign capabilities
  • Strong storytelling and facilitation skills
  • Strong project management/execution skills across multiple priorities
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable and meet deadlines
  • Strong team player and the ability to work autonomously

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading change initiatives.
  • Data-driven problem-solving techniques

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,846.00 to $111,375.00. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
