Role Summary:
Our Mississauga Branch is currently recruiting a dynamic Inspection Manager to lead a fire service sales team, by developing and implementing sales growth strategies, with a focus on margin and profitability to drive and contribute to the overall success of the company. The position will report to the Senior Service Manager - GTA.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Service Sales team to establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and qualified potential customers for service agreement, renovation orders, and upgrades.
- Manages customer relationships and facilitates the provision of excellent customer service and company image.
- Explain deficiencies, go over reporting with the customer and ensures the customer is satisfied.
- Owns P&L responsibilities for Inspection and is accountable to drive and sustain growth and profitability.
- Ensures the success of the sales team by monitoring, training and reviewing staff performance effectively.
- Acts as a liaison between the inspections department, the branch and other teams.
- Oversees and maintains IMA renewal program with Salespeople.
- Ensures inspection commitments are fulfilled and on time for Inspection intervals.
- Recruits for talent and provides guidance and leadership towards the achievement of established sales and profitability goals.
- Develops and implements sales strategies and works individually with staff members on developing relevant sales skills.
- Develops and administers Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the department.
- Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or Sales is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CAN/ULCS536 and NFPA25 regulations for inspections of life safety systems.
- Good technical skills and the ability to work both strategically and tactically to achieve regional objectives.
- Proven ability to coach and develop sales representatives to become high performers.
- Experience working with all professional levels: Consultants, Electrical Contractors, and Distributors within the Alarm Industry is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of PC-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com).
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
