We are seeking a full-time Civil Designer in our Moncton office.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
  • 3-5 Years experience
  • Experience working with computer assisted drafting (CAD) and surveying
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working with Civil 3D and REVIT is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in civil construction is considered an asset.
  • Experience working for local market municipalities is considered an asset.
  • Experience working both within a larger team and independently is considered an asset.

Main Duties:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Surveying / Municipal field inspections.
  • Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Developing and maintaining company-wide CAD templates and standards.
  • Work with experienced multi-disciplined team to produce designs.
  • Support field staff and contractors with project construction data and information.
  • Providing quality assurance for CAD deliverables.
  • Provide project quantities and cost estimates.
  • Preparing as-built drawings as per requirements of local jurisdiction.
  • Provide drafting support to all departments.
  • Adhering to all company policies.
  • Other duties as required.

Position:

  • Full time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
