We are seeking a Senior Program Manager (Product Delivery) to join our PMO team and lead program and project management efforts for the designated business unit(s). This individual will be responsible for understanding business objectives, ensuring proper program planning, and consistent execution of these objectives within a budget and with minimal disruptions. This role reports to the Director, Product Delivery Program Management, and is based remotely across Canada and/or the United States (in accordance with Hootsuite's local employment entities). In line with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work or a hybrid model.

$122,300—$172,300 CAD
US Pay Range For This Role
$151,500—$212,100 USD
What You’ll Do
Program Planning:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines for each priority.
- Drive communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment during the planning phase.
- Continuously review and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes in scope, resources, or priorities.
- Implement a 'two-week sprint' mentality and schedule, promoting agile project management methodologies within the team.
- Monitor progress and adjust execution strategies as needed to overcome obstacles and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Facilitate regular check-ins and updates with stakeholders to maintain alignment and visibility throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain standardized processes and guidelines for program management within the assigned area.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established governance policies and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing training and support to team members in the adoption of best practices for planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the Launch Program area to develop and implement strategies for seamless integration of projects into launch operations.
- Share insights and lessons learned from previous projects to improve overall delivery processes.
- Establish clear communication channels between program management and launch operations teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Collect and analyze relevant data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement within projects and across the program area.
- Develop and present regular reports to leadership, highlighting key insights and providing actionable recommendations for course correction.
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes within the program management team to ensure informed and effective planning and execution.
- Act as a liaison between the program management team and CTO/CPO leadership, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and challenges.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies to address business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to help shape and prioritize objectives for the business unit.
- Monitor resource utilization and capacity within the assigned area, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks and adjusting allocations as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects and allocate resources based on business needs and strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes for tracking resource availability, commitments, and overall capacity.
- Act as a point of escalation for issues impacting team performance or project delivery, working with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions.Provide guidance and best practices to team members on effective issue resolution and risk mitigation strategies.Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement within the program management team.
