About The Role

We’re looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance team! The Accounting Supervisor - Revenue will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting function related to revenue management. This role will ensure that all processes and procedures comply with IFRS, internal accounting policies, and government directives. The supervisor will lead a team to deliver accurate and timely financial reports while maintaining financial integrity and controls, and will collaborate with various departments to address financial issues and audit findings.

About Your Day

  • Review and analyze monthly financial results related to revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze internal and external financial reports, including Annual Audited Financial Statements and Annual Reports.
  • Analyze and resolve financial issues, providing business recommendations to senior management and auditors.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition processes and pricing-related procedures are in place and implemented.
  • Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations, monthly analysis, and reporting.
  • Monitor reconciliations between systems integrations to ensure accuracy of records and transactions.
  • Follow up on and remediate internal and external audit findings in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance team and other departments to address financial issues
  • Lead and develop a team of 2-3 direct reports, providing guidance and motivation to achieve high performance.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and maintain high standards of financial integrity and controls.

About You

  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance
  • Proficiency with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a strong asset.
  • CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and high workloads.
  • Self-motivated, with strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Sound business acumen and effective decision-making capabilities.

About The Job

  • This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. The current in office requirement is a minimum of 3 days/week (may be more depending on business needs). The OCS office is located near York Mills and Yonge St. However, OCS reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $90,000- $100,000. This is a pay grade 6 role, with a salary range of $ 71,066.63 - $ 106,316.64. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
