Clerical Associate - Diagnostic Imaging

Accountabilities:

• Faxing and emailing urgent diagnostic imaging reports
• Arranging patient transport
• Booking diagnostic imaging procedures
• Documenting inpatient order entries for service coordinator
• Printing and distribution of diagnostic imaging booking schedules
• Image management
• Registration
• Explain exams and preps to patients
• Telephone, reception, filing
• General film library duties and other clerical duties as assigned

• Knowledge of registration of patients required
• Knowledge of the image management (film library)
• Knowledge of MSM bookings required
• Medical terminology required
• Working knowledge of patient transportation system
• Knowledge of RIS an asset
• Reception experience required
• Typing skills of 40-45 words per minutes required
• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures an asset
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and telephone skills required
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record

• Required to travel between and work at all hospital sites

Two (2) positions to fill

Hours: Currently Days/Evenings/Nights, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:
Minimum: $24.32 per hour
Maximum: $26.34 per hour
