Machine Learning Engineer, Intern

Job Summary

Bree (YC 21) is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer, Intern to take ownership of various ambiguous and challenging components of high-impact machine learning projects.

Founded in 2021, we are fortunate to have a very healthy core business with a tremendous runway, having grown 50x in the last year to 8 figures of annualized revenue. Bree is headquartered in Vancouver, B.C. and we are excited to continue bringing world-class talent onboard to help shape the next chapter of our growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Work on challenging and ambitious machine learning engineering problems
• Have extreme ownership over major parts of machine learning projects
• Take an incredible level of responsibility and autonomy
• Build the leading edge of lending AI technologies
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python, Pandas, Numpy and Regex
• Familiarity with common machine learning libraries such as LightGBM and PyTorch
• Familiarity with common statistical methods and machine learning design patterns
• Familiarity with Git
• Some prior internship experience working on machine learning projects
• Knowing TypeScript/JavaScript is a bonus
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $35-50 based on experience and interview performance
