Role Description

We’re looking for a creative and motivated team member with a passion for communications and storytelling. Are you our ready to bring your talent in content marketing to Harmonic?

As a Content Marketing Manager, you’ll work with the corporate marketing team, subject matter experts (SMEs), internal and external contributors to manage marketing communications content development and position our products and solutions with value-based storytelling. Your aim will be to align with business objectives to generate brand awareness with target audiences, increase engagement and capture new leads.

You’ll ensure efficient content lifecycle management as you execute content marketing roadmaps, participate in content strategy development, and support content marketing campaigns at Harmonic.

Location

Remote – this position is 100% Remote anywhere in Canada (East Coast preferred)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Strategy Development: Define and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with overall marketing and business goals and that addresses audience needs
  • Content Calendar Planning: Develop and maintain a content calendar, coordinating the timing of campaigns, publications, promo assets, and other deliverables
  • Content Creation, Optimization and Curation: Write, edit and manage content development for marketing tactics in various formats including for web, video and print: emails, videos, presentations, webinars, events, brochures, newsletters, articles, and other assets, for distribution across multiple communication channels
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate content development activities with internal and external stakeholders, and align content development and campaign activities across teams
  • Content Distribution and Promotion: Develop strategies for distributing content across various platforms, including email, social media, and paid channels
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Collaborate with digital marketing to measure content effectiveness, optimize and adapt the content strategy based on data insights to improve performance over time.
  • Style, Tone and Voice: Ensure Harmonic’s tone, style, and voice across channels and maintain the Harmonic style guide and templates

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • Communicate with a native level of English (speaking, comprehension & writing)
  • Have 3-5 years of work experience in content or digital marketing, or a related field
  • Previous experience working in telecommunications and/or high-tech industries
  • Are comfortable with content management platforms (Hubspot is used), and tools for collaborative authoring like Atlassian’s Confluence platform
  • Have previous professional experiences with defining and executing organized ways of working to coordinate across teams, communicate effectively, anticipate and meet deadlines
  • Have an appreciation for high-quality work, while maintaining a practical approach to content development
  • Have strong critical thinking skills with experience working autonomously and in a diverse, global team
  • Have previous experience working remotely
  • Believe in continuous improvement with curiosity, authenticity, professionalism, and an outgoing team spirit
  • Strive to innovate, challenge ideas when relevant and propose new ideas with a problem-solver mentality

Travel required as necessary

Pay & Benefits

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between CAD 80,000 - CAD 95,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market, location and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
