We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Linux systems and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for end-users, ensuring a seamless IT experience. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide first-level technical support to users experiencing IT-related issues. 

  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network problems. 

  • Manage and oversee the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of devices across multiple platforms including Microsoft Intune, macOS (MDM), and Linux. 

  • Assist with user account management, including creating, modifying, and disabling accounts in Active Directory. 

  • Utilize ticketing systems to document issues, track resolutions, and maintain records of user interactions. 

  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical support or appropriate teams as necessary. 

  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance user support experiences. 

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with technology trends and tools. 

  • Assist in maintaining documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles for common technical issues and resolutions. 

  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and applications as directed. 

 



  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus. 

  • Previous experience in an IT support role 1- 2 years. 

  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces. 

  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). 

  • Familiarity with MDM platforms like (Microsoft Intune, Addigy, etc.)  

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English. 

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

  • Customer-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service. 

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Zendesk). 

  • Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus. 

  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Linux+, or equivalent) are desirable.

This position requires a 100% on-site presence at our office. Remote or hybrid work options are not available due to our in-office support needs, on demand overtime, and on call rotation during the weekends.
