Also, the incumbent will participate in the full cycle of recruitment mandates for positions in Transcontinental's Manufacturing & Printing plants across Canada.

- Recruitment mandates / "sourcing"
- Understands recruitment needs and collects them from managers in collaboration with human resources business partners at sites.
- Identifies and implements recruitment strategies to find the best talent; using social media and different platforms, carries out "sourcing" to identify and attract passive candidates.
- Evaluates, selects and presents to managers the best candidates for the position; guides managers for interviews and advises them in making hiring decisions
- Administers and interprets various selection tests
- Participates in the development and presentation of the offer to candidates
- Participates and represents the Company as an ambassador at recruitment events with educational institutions, professional associations and others
- Builds and maintains relationships and networks with talented candidates
- Establishes and maintains close and ongoing relationships with internal clients; Ensures regular follow-up with internal customers and ensures their satisfaction; advises managers on the application of recruitment and selection processes.
- Acts as an expert and resource person in talent acquisition for the Corporation's human resources partners
- Is on the lookout for new trends and best practices in talent acquisition
- Works closely with our plant HR partners to understand business needs and priorities and identifies and develops appropriate innovative recruitment strategies
- Develops and maintains relationships with various external partners such as recruitment firms, educational institutions, professional associations and establishes national agreements.
- Ensure the full use of the Kenexa applicant management system with human resources partners in collaboration with the HRIS team.
- Ensures TC Transcontinental's visibility and promotes its positioning as an employer of choice in the job market to provide the Corporation with the best talent that shares its culture and values
- University degree in human resources management or other related or relevant field
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in talent acquisition within a company
- Proven success and experience in recruiting hourly production roles in a manufacturing or printing environment.
- Very good knowledge of applicant tracking systems will be considered an asset
- Fluently bilingual in oral and written language
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule and be located in one of the following cities
- Halifax
- Montreal
- Monceton
- Ottowa
- Gatineau
