This new position is essential to support our expanding project portfolio and strategic goals as we look to the future, fostering both our current team’s development and preparing for anticipated growth through 2025 and beyond. About The Team
Our BC/YT Hydrogeology team offers expert services in geotechnical support, hydraulic structures, and landfill hydrogeology, addressing complex water challenges across diverse sectors. With capabilities in hydrometric field services, contaminant hydrogeology, mine hydrogeology, and numerical modeling, we provide tailored solutions for our government, public and private clients. Our team combines scientific expertise and practical experience to deliver high-quality insights that support sustainable water management, infrastructure resilience, and regulatory compliance.

- A relevant undergraduate degree in geoscience or engineering with a focus on Hydrogeology.
- 10-15 years of experience in a consulting environment with a focus on hydrology, water resources or a related field.
- Holds a professional registration in the province/territory of work; if currently practicing outside of BC/YT, eligibility to obtain professional registration within one year.
- Achieved a senior level of technical proficiency in hydrogeology and are committed to the continued development of those skills.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
- Proven commitment to Health & Safety (H&S) standards and practices, with a track record of promoting an inclusive and diverse (I&D) work environment that prioritizes safety, respect, and well-being for all team members.
- Adaptability and flexibility to prioritize and manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change and the ability to build partnerships across disciplines and areas of expertise.
- Self-motivated leader with excellent inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience, including training, reviewing work, and performance management.
- A proven track record of successful business development, and of fostering client relationships.
- Commitment to technical excellence and ability to write proposals and technical reports.
- Financial, forecasting and budgeting experience.
- Strategic and business planning experience.
