About The Role

We’re looking for a Manager, Project Management to join our growing team!

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to manage our CL Internal Deployment Team. Responsible for the team leadership, development and skill management including performance management and production optimization. Participates in setting priorities and in planning appropriate objectives and operational efficiencies to meet or exceed goals. Responsible of the initiatives regarding planning, monitoring and managing progress of internal projects from initiation through completion. In charge of project advancement and performance to achieve project results to meet quality standards and/or technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost requirements. In charge of the identification of obstacles and problematics and for the recommendations in order to complete the projects on time and budget.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Leads, support and coaches the project team to effectively utilize and develop strengths and skills of team members.
  • Builds high-performance and engaging team by providing a clear vision and effectively identifying and developing talent.
  • Leverage capabilities to propose appropriate solutions and deliver business value.
  • Define the overall project scope and objectives with business sponsors and manage sponsor and stakeholder expectations in collaboration with their project team.
  • Proactively align and engage team with project objectives to ensure effectiveness.
  • Foster open communication with team to ensure alignment on tasks, timelines and responsibilities.
  • Act as point of contact between project team and other stakeholders, focused on facilitating collaboration, transparent and consistent communication on project status and resourcing.
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets to ensure project completion is on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Identify and assess risks, implement risk mitigation strategies including severity and impact assessments.
  • Provide overall project reporting : scorecards, progress reports, metrics, issues, costs, etc.
  • Support and be ambassador for change management efforts, related to assigned projects or otherwise.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of project experience.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional certification (CIP) or strong knowledge of P&C insurance is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge project tools.
  • Proven experience in team leadership focused on inspiring and engage people : you can create strong and disciplined teams of highly effective people that consistently deliver quality products.
  • Capable of converting strategy into action, you have a personable, effective and confident manner with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Independent Thinker : you are not afraid to challenge the status-quo.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Fast learner.
  • Versatile.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
