Brief Overview
Under the direction of the MN-S Housing Manager, the Housing Program Supervisor will provide leadership and support to the Housing team in the development, implementation, and management of programs and projects to support Métis citizens across the province.

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Housing Manager
Brief Overview
Under the direction of the MN-S Housing Manager, the Housing Program Supervisor will provide leadership and support to the Housing team in the development, implementation, and management of programs and projects to support Métis citizens across the province.
Key Responsibilities
- As part of the housing team, directly support Métis citizens of Saskatchewan with homeowner program application and program administration. This includes, but is not limited to, the following programs:
- Emergency Repair Program
- First Time Home Buyers Program
- Home Efficiency Initiative
- Future program developed within MN-S to support homeowners and aspiring homeowners
- Contribute to the MN-S housing team in developing and implementing innovative and effective housing responses.
- Review and revision of documentation and coordination of service delivery to ensure compliance with program guidelines and alignment with departmental vision.
- Fielding concerns and creating solutions centered around program service delivery, department staff structure, and internal program administration.
- Onboard and train new and existing department staff. Ensuring that all staff are adequately prepared for their roles.
- Address and find solutions for disputes with third-party contractors, inspectors, and other vendors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external organizations and governments as they relate to homeownership supports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Métis homeowners
- Collect and provide data for financial reporting, program review, presentations, and to secure future program support.
- Liaison and collaborate inter-departmentally to develop resources, training, and programs related to Métis homeowners.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Leadership abilities
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is required
- Ability to travel
- Bachelor of Business Administration or related degree/equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years working within the Housing sector or related field
- Minimum two years of related experience in management/supervision
- Must undergo a Criminal Record Check
- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and access reliable transportation
