Project Manager, CRM Project

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Project Manager for a CRM Project, to lead their Business Transformation Project and their Relationship System Modernization Project (CRM).

Responsibilities:

• Business Transformation Project: This project involves the replacement of a legacy system that supports processes that help provide services to the citizens of the province. The project also includes but is not limited to:

o Changes to business systems, processes, information technology (IT) and infrastructure

o User adoption and organizational change management; and

o Integration into large financial and other systems.

• Relationship System Modernization Project: This project involves the replacement of an outdated customer relationship management system (CRM) with a modern solution to capture and adapt to the ever-changing business needs of the province economy to make data-driven decision-making tailored to drive business, optimize relationships management with international and the province businesses, and improve internal communications. The project includes but is not limited to:

o Implementation of a new public-facing CRM application

o Changes to IT and infrastructure; and

o Organizational change management.

• The Project Manager will be expected to work with the preferred external vendor (if applicable) along with all stakeholders (ITD, IT service partners, and the various clients and executives) to deliver the project and deliverables. The Project Manager will be required to have exceptional relationship-building, communication, and facilitation skills with previous experience demonstrating the ability to understand and support digital, online public-facing citizen services delivered by the government.

• Within the PMO, Project Managers are responsible for applying the existing project management methodologies and processes to ensure the successful completion of project goals within the identified schedule and budget constraints. Additionally, Project Managers are encouraged to participate in establishing management methodologies, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification. A copy of a valid Certificate must be included in the submission.

• Demonstrated experience as a practicing Project Manager managing different, complex Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) implementation projects in an IT environment. The complex is defined as a project with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and complex cloud integrations with public-facing components.

• The organization is interested in understanding the Resource’s experience with the government sector, or comparable entities, as it relates to the technical and business landscape.

• Demonstrated Project Management experience including successfully managing team resources, risks, systems development, estimating effort and costs, and planning and scheduling project activities following Project Management Institute (PMI) standards, processes, and documentation.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, evidenced by the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels and prioritize business objectives.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing practices and techniques to navigate project governance frameworks is essential, including conducting project team meetings and engaging with Executive Steering Committees.

• Demonstrated experience managing at least two (2) large CRM projects with cloud integrations (large means budget of at least $500,000).

• Proven record of achievement as a Project Manager demonstrates significant experience in successfully working in an IT project environment with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

• Significant is defined as completed project management experience combined with years of experience.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and managing project management documentation. Examples would include project plans, schedules, project budgets, and change orders as well as project status reports.

• Demonstrated experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps.

• Demonstrated experience working with tools such as CMDB.

• Certification as an organizational change management practitioner is considered an asset.
