Senior Data Integration Specialist Responsibilities
- Engage with Product Owner, Solution Architects to design the product, develop data integration and ETL (extract. transform and load) solutions by actively participating in the requirements, solution, design, implementation, testing, and deployment phases of all assigned projects.
- Analyze technical requirements and data analysis while defining and documenting data mapping. Assist with developing data dictionary and metadata, develop, and test new solutions or significant enhancements using cloud based architectural framework and DevOps environment. Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
- Enable skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, training, and mentoring less experienced developers and may act as a technical lead in projects. Lead the development and implementation of processes such as the revision of code, follow-up and change management and all DevOps practices.
- Participate and collaborate with the enterprise architects on the research, prototyping, and introduction of emerging technologies and development tools, building cutting-edge solutions.
- Develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems.
- Document and demonstrate technical software solutions by developing presentations, documentation and diagrams, code comments and clear code.
- Communicate with the support team to ensure a smooth transition of services from project to support team.
- Assist projects in task planning and estimation.
- Strong technical and analytical and problem-solving skills, being able to drive the team to maximize the output, be able to communicate technical design and patterns effectively.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives concurrently; able to respond and adapt to changing priorities and timelines, ability to provide technical mentorship to others.
- Experience working with Azure Service (e.g. Storage, Resource Group, etc.), data pipelines, datalakes, databricks, blob storage, etc.
- Experience delivering solutions in distributed environments like
- Microservices, experience with Nodejs, NoSQL databases and writing Unit Test.
- Experience using Azure DevOps (e.g. Git source control, pull request, etc.), and designing, building, and maintaining and supporting custom developed solutions in Informatica and/or other ETL tools
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- 7+ years of ETL and data integration development experience at least 4 years in a cloud-based DevOps environment
- ADF Pipeline development (nice to have)
