About The Team

Imperative Orchestration, Declarative Automation - The Cloud Platform Engineering Team is responsible for building and running a cloud platform that enables delivery teams to self-service deployments with reduced lead time and complexity. We also provide cloud services and tools that enable internal development teams to build, test and deploy their applications using modern platform tooling like CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and Kubernetes delivery via ArgoCD. These same tools we leverage to ensure our customer environments are automated and continuously up to date. We are passionate about code and the power of automation to simplify complex processes.

As a Senior Staff Cloud Platform Engineer you will play a critical role in advancing our cloud platform capabilities and delivering exceptional experiences to our development and operations teams.

What you will do

  • Solve complex challenges as a trusted technical lead.
  • Drive a DevOps mindset and collaboration within the Cloud Platform Engineering Team.
  • Develop and enhance cloud reference architectures and guide teams on implementation.
  • Participate in architectural decisions, improve CI/CD pipelines, and build secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline delivery processes, enhance services, and provide a seamless experience through self-service and modern approaches.
  • Mentor and lead team members to achieve excellence in industry best practices.
  • Leading code and design reviews for high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Engineering with specialization in Computer Science or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience with enterprise architecture in a cloud computing environment.
  • Extensive experience with public cloud platforms, both console and API (GCP preferred).
  • Experience automating cloud solutions (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data).
  • Experience developing in Go, Python and Shell/Bash.
  • Strong knowledge of system design to manage operational and reliability trade-offs.
  • Practical understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum.
