Description
Located out of our Calgary office, the individual in the Accounting Co-op Student/Intern role will report to the Manager, Transportation Finance. The successful candidate will be a member of the team assisting with Transportation Accounting functions.
Key Activities And Responsibilities
Full time: Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week
Start Date: May 1st, 2025 for 8 months with opportunity to extend
As this position is identified as security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment criminal background check assessment with satisfactory results.

Description
Located out of our Calgary office, the individual in the Accounting Co-op Student/Intern role will report to the Manager, Transportation Finance. The successful candidate will be a member of the team assisting with Transportation Accounting functions.
Key Activities And Responsibilities
- Preparing account reconciliations
- Assisting with clearing costs in our financial system (SAP)
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide support in pulling evidence for ongoing audits
- Assist in creating billing invoices to be sent to customers
- Assisting with reporting tasks and KPI creation
- Other projects as assigned
- Post-secondary student who has completed their 2nd or 3rd year in university or college from a Business, Finance or Accounting program
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, communication and organizational skills
- Well-developed interpersonal, team, and customer service communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite computer skills
- Ability to set and meet deadlines and work independently
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline oriented, growth environment
