Key Elements Of This Role Include
- The successful candidates for these positions will be the key point of contact for the electrical contractor network within Nova Scotia.
- The incumbent’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- navigating the applications associated with permitting and inspection.
- creating and managing contractor records.
- creating and managing permits (including editing, cancelling and refunding of outstanding and expired permits).
- scheduling inspections, discussing fees, and generating and sending reports.
These Skills Will Make You Successful
- This position requires a minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Previous experience with Wiring Inspections and/Wiring Permits will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
- A detailed-oriented individual, working to a high standard and level of accuracy is what this position needs, and the incumbent will have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and strong communications skills for voice service are required.
- The ability to expedite with urgency and manage high peaks and volumes is required.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
