We're seeking someone to join our team as a Java Full stack Developer with experience on multi-tiered Java EE-style applications and Front-End technologies. The candidate will be required to work in a multifaceted agile team on the development and maintenance of a suite of applications that build up our statistical model development and execution platform.

What You’ll Do In The Role
- Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.
- Design and develop complex software systems and applications.
- Deliver solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in software engineering and design patterns.
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies.
- Lead efforts to refactor and optimize existing codebase for efficiency and maintainability.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications to optimize performance and functionality.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
- Core Java, Java EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Web Services (XML, JSON , REST, SOAP), Relational databases (preferably DB2)
- Experience with UI development frameworks (ExtJS preferable, Angular, React, etc)
- Understanding of non-functional requirements (security, scalability, reliability)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
- Working experience of Agile development methodologies and DevOps integration
- Competency with source control systems (preferably git), CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ensuring streamlined development processes.
- Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Basic understanding of Linux commands
