Analyst
National Bank of Canada
As an analyst on the Segregation and
Buy-ins team in the National Bank Financial Markets Operations family, you will
work in a stimulating environment focused on collaboration and innovation. This
job will allow you to contribute to the organization’s performance and develop
strong links with our internal and external partners.
Your
job :
- Ensure our clients' fully paid securities are segregated to
keep them separate from other securities - Carry out daily analysis of segregation deficiencies and remedy
them within the regulatory deadlines - Manage all buy-ins for Canadian and U.S. brokers
- Apply rule 204 of Regulation
SHO from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) - Issue notices of redemption in a timely manner and complete
redemptions within prescribed time frames - Work closely with key partners to ensure operational and
regulatory standards are met

You will join a team in the Financial
Markets Operations family where collaboration, excellence and innovation are at
the heart of its values. You will work closely with colleagues and partners who
share your regulatory and capital markets interests.

Prerequisites
- Completed three-year college diploma or academic equivalent and
four years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree in a related field - Strong interest in regulation, securities and capital markets
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, an asset
- Proficiency with ISM tools (OSS), MAX/Arrow, AS400, CDS, and
DTC, an asset - A self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to
summarize information - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
