Overview:
Pembina has an exciting new opportunity open with the Technical Services Unit (TSU), Manager, Asset Management Enablement and Technology. This position reports to the Director of Asset Lifecycle, Enablement & Governance in TSU, part of Pembina’s Corporate Services division.
In addition to the Construction Services Office and Product Quality and Measurement, TSU manages, on behalf of the Company’s Business Units (BU’s), a comprehensive Asset Integrity and Management Program, which includes the asset lifecycle management, Pembina maintenance management and asset data, document control and drafting, pipeline integrity, integrity and risk assurance, integrity project management and construction, and facility integrity teams.

Overview:

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Leadership/Business Acumen/Strategy
- Promote operating excellence and support delivery of initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of Pembina’s Operating Management System (OMS);
- Drive and support operational excellence initiatives and projects in pursuit of establishing the “Pembina Way of operating”;
- Be a true business and strategic contributor by developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with Operations and Engineering leadership across Pembina;
- Achieve a high-quality working relationship with key stakeholders, particularly the various operating Business Units; and
- Ensure that Pembina’s technology strategy and work prioritization is aligned with Pembina operations.
- Manage a team of Specialists and Analysts;
- Implement and oversee a work intake process and project tracking and reporting system for TSU;
- Implement enhancements to a technology, systems, and data roadmap for TSU asset management, asset data, and other TSU systems initiatives;
- Ensure TSU and Operations data and technology initiatives are in alignment with operational priorities;
- Oversee TSU reporting and dashboarding for Pembina business units; and
- Leadership of budgeting forecasting support for TSU.
- Experienced project management skills with at least 10 years of asset management and integrity experience in the North American Petrochemical/Midstream Industry in a formal leadership role;
- B.Sc. Engineering with P.Eng. (APEGA), MBA or related post-graduate degree is preferred;
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team building skills, and ability to function effectively in a high pressure, fast-paced environment;
- Demonstrated business acumen, creativity and innovation in the delivery of services that directly impact achievement of business objectives;
- Proven ability to lead others in a manner that empowers, develops, and rewards for innovation; and
- A team player with ability to build collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
