Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Travel Agency Sales Representative to join our team. This role combines sales and aftersales responsibilities with an opportunity for career advancement into a managerial position. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth of the agency.


Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients through proactive prospecting, cold calls, and referrals.
  • Promote and sell travel packages, including flights, accommodations, tours, and customized travel solutions.
  • Provide clients with tailored travel advice and options, leveraging knowledge of destinations, visa requirements, and travel trends.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets by closing deals efficiently.
2. After Sales Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all booked travel arrangements are accurately documented and confirmed with suppliers and clients.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries, changes, or concerns post-booking to maintain satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients during their travel, including emergency assistance and issue resolution.
  • Gather client feedback post-trip to improve services and strengthen relationships.
3. Managerial Growth and Leadership:
  • Assist in mentoring new team members, sharing sales strategies and travel expertise.
  • Take the lead in managing special projects, such as corporate accounts or niche travel markets.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the agency's operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop sales strategies and contribute to long-term planning.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities that position you for promotion into a managerial role.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in travel sales, customer service, or a related field (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of global destinations, airlines, and travel booking platforms (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English (French or other languages is a plus, particularly for roles in bilingual regions like Quebec).
