What will you do?
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, planning, execution, control and completion of projects in accordance with contractual commitments and in compliance with the company’s policies, processes and procedures for the execution of projects.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the efforts of team members, partners, third-party contractors and consultants in order to deliver projects in line with agreed upon performance indicators.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the efforts of team members, partners, third-party contractors and consultants in order to deliver projects in line with agreed upon performance indicators.
- Define project scope, goals, methodology and deliverables.
- Develop full-scale project plans and define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation and day-to-day operational aspects.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Ensure project deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and contract requirements.
- Minimize exposure and risk on a project.
- Develop and implement recovery/mitigation plans for unanticipated events/risks.
- Diligently manage the change order process.
- Constantly monitor and report on progress to concerned stakeholders.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
- Assist in evaluating and assessing project KPIs.
- Develop relationships with client/consultant personnel that foster long-term business ties.
- Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
- Suggest areas for improvement with internal processes, with possible solutions.
- Actively participate in QMS and HSE programs.
- Use the required processes and procedures to execute work.
- Report any existing or potential safety and QMS nonconformities to a supervisor, Quality Manager or HSE Coordinator.
- Maintain a clean work area through daily housekeeping, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- PMP certification is an added asset.
- 5+ years of professional experience in project management or evidence of project management capabilities deemed appropriate for this position.
- Effective time management and project management skills.

- Critical thinking, problem solving and conflict management.
- Planning, organizing and decision making.
- Stakeholder management and effective communication.
- Detail-oriented, the ability to manage work pressures and to multi-task.
