Position Overview:

We are seeking a Configuration Team Lead to join our Calgary, AB location. This is a full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with National Manager for ongoing management functions including maintaining ongoing department headcount requirements, staff recognition and reward, ongoing technical skills and performance assessments and productivity analysis;
  • Review continued training and career path for department staff, developing training plans to ensure technology trends as well as client specific requirements are met;
  • Manage the Technicians' day-to-day activities to ensure consistent operations resulting in meeting SLA and required production volumes.
  • Oversee and plan the daily schedules and production volumes for specific customers with the assistance of the Configurations Administration Team and attend established weekly cadence planning sessions.
  • Function as both a team player and leader to motivate, direct, and guide daily activities as they relate to direct reports.
  • Form a strong partnership with the broader team such as Sales Operations, Materials Management, and Engineered Deployment Team to ensure awareness and communication as they relate to outstanding orders/rollouts that are forecasted;
  • Work closely with the Inside Sales Representatives and the Configurations Admin Team to validate proper order entries and discuss and escalate any issues or concerns;
  • Ensure departmental ISO Quality Management System Compliance (process, documentation, governance, training, and continuous improvement);

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role related to desktop and end-user devices and support.
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role managing large teams with direct reports.
  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience.
  • ITIL v4.0 Certification is an asset.
  • Good understanding of Operating Systems such as Linux, Windows, iOS, MacOS, and Android.
  • Protocol Services such as Active Directory, Networking and Security such as Anti-Virus.
  • Experience performing needs assessments, analyzing results and developing plans to drive expected outcomes and achievements.
  • Project management and planning capabilities to ensure that Technical Services work can be delivered as required and forecasted.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a multi-project environment.
  • Solid organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
