Internal Consulting & Strategic Initiatives Manager

This position is located in Calgary, AB.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver internal consulting engagements, providing strategic advisory services, and project management support.
• Build and maintain a knowledge repository of best practices, tools, and frameworks to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering insights and solutions to complex business challenges.
• Assist in evaluating and managing consulting engagements, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyze and track external consulting spend, providing insights to support cost management and governance.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on key strategic initiatives.

What you will bring:

• 8 plus years of experience in corporate development, management consulting, strategy, or a related role. Experience in agriculture or fertilizer industry preferred.
• Superior analytical skills, the ability to both dig into the details and retain big-picture thinking.
• Strong project management skills, experience influencing others, reaching alignment, and driving execution.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various audiences, including senior leadership.
• A curious mindset that enjoys tackling problems.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and have a high skill level with Excel and PowerPoint.
• A Bachelor’s degree or professional designation is required. A post-graduate designation such as a CFA, CPA or MBA in Strategy, Finance or similar is an advantage.
