High Tide Inc. – Digital Marketing Specialist (Remote)

High Tide Inc., a leading cannabis retailer and accessory company, seeks a passionate and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing our suite of e-commerce websites, ensuring a smooth customer experience, and supporting significant sales growth. This position will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies for customer retention and loyalty programs, including personalized offers and targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct regular website audits to identify and address usability issues that impact customer experience across all touchpoints (purchases, sign-ups, checkout, etc.).
  • Proactively recommend website improvements, focusing on mobile optimization for a seamless user journey.
  • Partner with developers to resolve technical problems and enhance website functionality to improve user experience and conversions.
  • Monitor and report on e-commerce metrics, including sales trends, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value, and provide actionable insights to optimize performance.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to understand customer behavior and leverage data insights to optimize website content and marketing efforts (including A/B testing).
  • Manage and maintain website promotions, collaborating with marketing and sales teams.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform product assortment and merchandising strategies across the e-commerce platform.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve overall website and marketing effectiveness, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Evaluate and optimize the sales funnel to reduce cart abandonment rates and improve conversion rates through strategic interventions.
  • Collaborate with SEO and content marketing teams to translate data insights into strategic website content development and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the product team to align e-commerce strategies with new product launches and seasonal promotions.
  • Manage promotional campaigns, including creating coupons and implementing homepage banner updates aligned with campaign efforts.
  • Work with the marketing team to manage digital advertising campaigns (including paid search) to drive targeted traffic to the e-commerce websites.
  • Oversee customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce marketing and digital advertising.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketing or a related field. (Experience in the cannabis industry a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, are a plus and can enhance your application.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data tools to inform decision-making.
  • Experience with customer segmentation and behavioral targeting strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness and drive conversion rates.
  • Strong understanding of the digital customer journey and customer funnel KPIs.
  • Experience working with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, programmatic ads).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills (experience with creating project workback schedules a plus).
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across departments.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with e-commerce platforms. Experience with CRM tools and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices. Knowledge of advanced e-commerce analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methodologies for optimizing user experience and campaign performance.
  • Experience with multichannel marketing strategies, including integrating e-commerce efforts with social media, email marketing, and influencer collaborations.
  • Familiarity with website compliance and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
