We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Climbing Team as Part Time Climbing Instructor. As a Part Time Climbing Instructor you will be responsible for providing consistent, outstanding service to members and their guests, while ensuring safety and that all members are aware of and adhering to rules and regulations of the Climbing Centre.
Responsibilities
This is a Part Time position that reports to the Climbing Director. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background including a Vulnerable Sector Check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Climbing Team as Part Time Climbing Instructor. As a Part Time Climbing Instructor you will be responsible for providing consistent, outstanding service to members and their guests, while ensuring safety and that all members are aware of and adhering to rules and regulations of the Climbing Centre.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, outstanding service to the members, guests, employees and co-workers within the Climbing Centre through instructing and programming
- Encourage and plan a family and fun focus in programs and services including but not limited to climbing programs, drop-in climbing, birthday parties and special events
- Ensure the delivery of high quality programs, activities and services that are consistent with member needs and program plans
- Implement rules and regulations of the Climbing Centre with members and guests and address any concerns as needed
- Collaborate with the Climbing Team through effective written and verbal communication and positive teamwork
- Maintain a welcoming, safe and clean environment within the Climbing Centre
- ACMG CGI Level 1 minimum required
- A minimum of 1 year in a climbing instruction capacity at a private club or sport/recreation facility
- Strong leadership skills with high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity
- Ability to influence progress through cooperation, conflict resolution, and facilitation
- Excellent member service and interpersonal skills
- First Aid/CPR-C required
