Responsibilities
- Putting together supplier agreements through sourcing channels including RFPS, RFQs, and Single Source Awards
- Taking the lead and executing sourcing events, assessing RFP requirements, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure governance is maintained
- Negotiations, risk assessment, pre-qualifying suppliers
- Managing contract documentation, amendments, and renewals
- Contractor performance management
- Creating agreements and sourcing templates
- Providing summaries and business base proposals to executive leadership team
- 5+ years of experience working directly as a Contract Specialist
- Oil and gas, construction, or midstream industry experience
- Post-secondary education
- Advanced user of Excel
- Strong business acumen, accountable, and reliable
- $65.00 - $75.00 hourly
- Location: SW Calgary
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time in-office
- 12-month contract with chance of extension
- T4 or incorporated option available
