Baker Tilly SNT is a locally owned full-service CPA firm in Northern Ontario with offices in Sudbury, Timmins, and North Bay. Outside our three offices, we also draw on the specialty services provided by partners from across the Baker Tilly Canada network and also globally through our affiliation with Baker Tilly International. We have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper working out of any of our local offices - Sudbury, Timmins or North Bay. The successful candidate will provide bookkeeping services to our external clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering monthly transactions
  • Reconciling accounts payable
  • Reconciling accounts receivable
  • Preparing payroll
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Preparing monthly financial reports
  • Government Reporting
  • Other duties and projects as required

A successful candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and/or Sage
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar role
  • CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) certification would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Caseware / Caseview would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
