Content and Design Specialist

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $60,000 per year
Start Date: Mid-January 2025

About the Role

Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for design and a flair for writing? We’re looking for a Content and Design Specialist to bring our brand to life through captivating visuals and compelling content. In this hybrid role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping our marketing initiatives across print, digital, and social platforms, ensuring our brand voice and aesthetic shine consistently across all channels.

What You'll Do

Graphic Design Responsibilities:

  • Craft stunning designs for sales collateral and marketing materials, including print ads, brochures, social media graphics, web banners, logos, promotional displays, and signage.
  • Develop digital assets like videos, landing pages, PPC collateral, and email templates — all while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Oversee print production to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Organize and maintain a library of creative assets for future use.
  • Assist with additional business tasks and projects as needed.

Content Writing Responsibilities:

  • Write engaging and persuasive copy for social media, email campaigns, websites, product descriptions, and advertisements.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure content aligns seamlessly with visuals and brand voice.
  • Edit and proofread materials to guarantee clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Develop creative taglines, slogans, and concepts for marketing campaigns.
  • Support cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive and powerful brand presence.
  • Assist with other related tasks to support business goals.

What You Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your design and writing skills.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Software Proficiency:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
  • HTML and content management systems.
  • Premiere Pro (preferred) for basic video editing.
  • Canva (an asset)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional design skills and the ability to produce high-quality visuals.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and tone adaptation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and adept at balancing creative and analytical tasks.
  • Solid understanding of branding principles and dedication to maintaining brand consistency.
