Full-Time Video Editor/Camera Operator

Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll unleash your creativity, manage video projects, and collaborate with our talented writers to show off your editing skills to subscribers all around the globe!
As a Video Editor/Camera Operator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties:Utilizing video editing software (Premiere Pro and other Adobe-related applications) to log and refine footage at various editing stages
Managing multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
Collaborating with writers and other stakeholders to review and ensure videos align with each channel’s style and narrative
Incorporating graphics, animations, and other elements to elevate the visual appeal of our videos while maintaining the company’s identity and branding
Performing color correction/grading and enhancing audio footage
Operating cameras, lighting, screen and audio recording devices to ensure optimal image, sync, and sound quality
Requirements:Advanced understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro and story structure within a long-form narrative
Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Effective problem-solving skills both independently and as part of a team
Intermediate understanding of Photoshop
Advanced understanding of production equipment, camera gear, audio, timecode, lighting, and design
Nice to Haves:
Graphic design, social media production experience, and familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, and Illustrator
Livestreaming experience (OBS, vMix, Switcher), DAW software (ProTools, Logic), NLE software (Davinci, Avid)
An interest in computers, electronics, and emerging technologies
Compensation:
For this position, the typical hiring salary range falls between CAD$55,000 and $70,000 per year. The base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience. LMG's compensation structure is rooted in a performance and merit-based approach that acknowledges the performance of both the individual and the team.

We are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our talented production staff. Join the creative force behind our YouTube tech channels Linus Tech Tips (LTT), ShortCircuit, TechLinked, and more. Bring your building skills and your passion for hands-on work to help create content that reaches over 16 million subscribers!
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll help make the magic happen, by assisting writers, camera operators, and technical departments to make the production process as smooth as possible.
As a Production Assistant, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Duties:
Tearing down and cleaning sets after shoots to return them to their original state, checking that all products, props, and equipment are accounted for
Returning products into their original packaging to ensure inventory state and chain of custody are clear from check-out to return
Assisting and maintaining general set safety
Assisting camera operator by managing devices for capturing b-rolls, teleprompting, slating, or screen capture during shoots
Rigging and constructing on-camera items such as TV wall mounts, home office furniture, decorations, and any other ad-hoc props
Taking detailed notes during pre-shoot meetings to serve as a reference for the production team
Tracking on-set information such as reasons for stoppages, challenges, and occasional off-site errands or pick-ups
Job Requirements:
A ‘get the job done’ attitude with strong initiative and a high sense of accountability
Flexibility to respond to changing priorities while maintaining great organizational and communication skills
Able to lift up to 50lbs for transportation of production equipment and props such as PCs
A valid driver’s license for regular offsite shoots, transportation of inventory, and errands
A valid First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one
Great hardware and software troubleshooting skills to help with production setup
Assets:
Experience in areas of production such as light setup, basic audio and microphone knowledge, and video camera operation
Enthusiasm for technology and gaming
Motion Picture Industry Orientation or Safety Awareness certification
Compensation:

The base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience.
