Position Overview
Calian is seeking a Clinical Specialist Instructor in the field of Med Tech to help support the design, development and delivery of Canadian Forces Health Services Group Training and Education programs
Job Type
CasualResponsibilities
- Instruct Clinical Specialty T&E Programs
- Develop lesson plans
- Prepare classing, equipment, job aids and learning tools for instruction
- Set up/break down of training requirements such as dismantling equipment, and classrooms
- Counsel and provide remedial Training and Education to students who are experiencing academic difficulties
- Assess students
- Advise on student performance
- Maintain student files and feedback notes
- Advise on the quality and efficiency of the instruction
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree OR post graduate diploma/certificate from a recognized Canadian
University of College or from an equivalent in the following occupation: Med Tech
- Must have completed a minimum of sixty training days within the last three years in instructing in military health services in the following occupation: Med Tech
- Holds the applicable military national qualifications identified below for the following occupations: Medical Technician:
Additional Requirements
- Bilingualism an asset
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance at the Reliability Level
