As Workplace Operations Manager, you will provide outstanding client service by assisting the Director of Facilities in the monitoring and control of our global office environment with a focus on Facilities projects, day-to-day operations, maintenance programs, and vendor management within an office environment. You will be responsible for managing the assigned locations in accordance with the requirements of all local, provincial/state, and federal requirements, coordinating and managing business requirements & service delivery to ensure satisfaction while meeting strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices, timely training, and operating best practices.
- Work with a team to execute operations & maintenance plans safely and in alignment with client goals.
- Execute innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity.
- Manage project schedules, tasks, and act as liaison and first point of contact for contractors and design teams
- Management of physical security protocols and audits
- Performing site inspections. Regularly assessing the site and equipment to ensure assets/equipment are functional and clean.
- Maintain asset management and life cycle tracking.
- Monitoring supply inventory and ordering supplies including creating records of completed work.
- Adhere to all Critical Environments procedures, equipment requirements, and preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of systems while driving consistency across the portfolio.
- Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and provide a role in monitoring and improving customer experience across the portfolio. The ability to access, analyze, and utilize data to drive continuous improvement is a must.
- Ensure compliance with Dye & Durham operational audit programs, all Health and Safety, Environment, and Risk Management policies and procedures that relate to the site/s.
- Adhere to all Key Performance Indicator requirements to ensure all Master Service Agreement and compliance requirements are met.
- This position requires working on-site from our Toronto Head Office
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third-party service provider, or as a consultant
- Demonstrated Facility Project Coordination experience with office fit-outs, design build & decommissioning is a must
- Ability to take initiative, disseminate information, and be resourceful and flexible with a solution-based approach
- Excellent communication, team building, and customer service skill set
- Experience managing multiple property sites
- Experience in budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/customer relations.
- Has a solid understanding of the corporate office environment and workplace management solutions
- Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Must have strong MS 365 skills, including MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Strong organizational skills and management skills
