Position Overview

This posting is open to returning Temporary/Seasonal RPF staff only. This is not for 2025 summer students. The City of Burlington is accepting re-applications for the 2025 year for the following positions:

• Temporary/Seasonal Heavy Equipment Operator

Applications for any new opportunities for Temporary/Seasonal positions will be posted in early 2025.

Requirements

• Applicants must:

• Have been employed as a Temporary Employee with the Roads, Parks and Forestry Department in 2024.
• Possess a minimum of G license for at least 12 months with a clean driving record

• Driving Record

• No more than 3 driving infractions in the previous 3 years prior to the date of hire.
• No demerit points accumulated in the preceding 12 months.
• An accumulation of no more than 3 demerit points in the previous 3 years prior to the date of hire.
