Not only do we drive data that empowers insights and decision-making, but we also enable these teams through operational efficiency across the customer lifecycle.
Job Summary
The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for delivering ongoing reporting to the team, including translating data into digestible and actionable information. In this role, you will examine sales data to identify sales patterns and areas for opportunity, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations. The ideal candidate has a knack for using data and numbers to uncover trends and insights.
Note: This is a 6 month fixed term contract

Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance through sales analytics and reporting
- Compile weekly reports by collecting input from the sales regions and consolidating into a single report
- Analyze, track and trend KPIs and Sales Metrics for sales leadership
- Identify data trends, develop data models and provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive revenue
- Research AI and machine learning solutions and understand how Semtech can implement those solutions.
- Develop SAP Analytics models, stories and applications
- Post secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Experience building data models and machine learning solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Self starter
- 5+ years experience in Sales Operations or IT
- Experience building models, stories and apps in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience using Salesforce
- Experience using Alteryx, particularly Alteryx predictive tools is an asset
