What you'll do
- Efficiently picks and assembles orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers.
- Packs orders with attention to detail including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes.
- Ensures that products picked are of the highest quality i.e., no damaged products, freshest product selection, etc.
- Correctly documents and labels all orders through interpretation and understanding documentation including pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc.
- Optimizes tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
- Balances fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and service, including supporting issues to resolution.
- Ensures strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean work area and immediate cleanup of spills, ensuring all totes are clean before packing; operates material handling equipment safely and responsibly.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality standards; demonstrates flexibility adapting to work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules.
Minimum Qualifications
Age – 16 or older.
