Maintenance Mechanic

DunnRite foods is currently seeking a weekend Maintenance Mechanic to join the organization on a part time basis. The Maintenance Mechanic will collaborate with the Maintenance Production Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility.

You will be required to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, including unclogging drains, replacing faucets, or fixing leaks.
• Cleaning and lubricating machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Organizing and maintaining the maintenance workshop or storage area.
• Assisting in the installation, setup, modification and dismantling of machinery or equipment as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and reporting any safety hazards or incidents.
• Attending training sessions about GMPS.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Finalizing work orders.
• Other paperwork as required.
• Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools safely and proficiently.
• Must be flexible and available to work weekends.
