The opportunity

• Work with other team members to develop proposal content
• Assist in conducting searches for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Expression of Interest (EOIs), and Request for Qualifications (RFQs)
• Manage content in databases related to proposals and client engagement
• Research and gather information for potential upcoming opportunities
• Research (internet-based) various markets to identify project leads
• Update and maintain information in our Client Relationship Management database
• Assist in preparing collateral materials
• Managing meeting bookings, crafting, and disseminating meeting minutes
• Assist with coordination and preparation of seminars, events, conferences and speaking opportunities

Required

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher (open to all majors- marketing, engineering, architectural studies, history, psychology, sociology, etc.,)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with the following computer applications: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite
• Must have strong collaboration skills and a proactive demeanor, with an ability to work within a team environment and with staff of all levels
• Availability to work flexible hours when occasionally required
• Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers in Quebec as necessary
• Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
  
  
  

Preferred

• Bilingualism is preferable – and required in some positions – to communicate with colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers located outside Quebec
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize and balance multiple deadlines with great attention to detail
• Flexibility and willingness to address a variety of new tasks on a project-by-project basis
• Ability to work with minimal direction and take ownership of work
• Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator an asset

Toronto Hiring Range – The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
