SaskEnergy is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join our team. Summer students perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks including, but not limited to: equipment and shop maintenance, yard upkeep and supporting our Service and Maintenance Technicians.

Position Details

  • Union - This is a temporary full time summer student position from May 1, 2025 – August 29, 2025.
  • Multiple positions available.

Core Responsibilities

  • Equipment and shop maintenance including:
    • painting services
    • cleaning and organizing facilities and stations
  • Yard maintenance including:
    • lawn mowing
    • weed trimming
    • hand digging
    • raking
  • Assisting operations staff with a variety of tasks as directed.
  • General administrative duties including filing and working with spreadsheets.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled as a post-secondary student on a full-time basis for the winter 2025 semester and returning in the fall of 2025. Students must have completed one (1) year of post-secondary education.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s licence.
  • Physically fit.

Additional Information

  • Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, may be required.
  • The successful candidate will be subject to a background check that includes drug and alcohol testing.
  • Students must be prepared to work outdoors.
