What role you will play in our team

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Student, you will provide technical support for Imperial’s Upstream assets.

What you will do

  • Provide engineering expertise and support for safe and reliable operations, maintenance work and projects for Kearl, Cold Lake, and conventional assets
  • Prepare engineering assessments and engineering designs, conduct trouble-shooting and root cause failure analyses
  • Develop engineering solutions to address and rectify issues
  • Manage long term equipment improvement initiatives

About you

Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • Valid class 5 driver's license and safe driving record
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm for gaining and sharing knowledge
  • Preference for domain knowledge in instrument & electrical activities
  • Work schedule: Full time position

Start date: May, 2025

Work Term: 8, 12, 16 (12 + Preferred)

Location: Calgary, AB
