Who We’re Looking For

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team in the automotive industry? OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Tow Truck Operator with experience in vehicle towing and transportation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in wrecker/towing or heavy-duty vehicle operations.

You Are

  • Professional. You maintain a professional appearance and create a neat work environment consistent with company policy.
  • Customer-Focused. You provide prompt and courteous service both in person and on the phone, ensuring customer satisfaction.

You Will

  • Provide efficient, safe, and professional pick-up and delivery of vehicles associated with fleet/lease, factory, and dealer consignments.
  • Interact with customers to verify vehicle information and condition.
  • Complete condition reports as required by the customer and accurately manage paperwork related to pick-up and delivery functions.
  • Load and unload vehicles safely without causing damage.
  • Operate trucks in compliance with safety regulations and report any incidents or mechanical problems immediately to the Manager or Supervisor.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise the Manager or Supervisor of any serious complaints or incidents.
  • Maintain a good flow of communication with all personnel and promote positive employee relations and morale.
  • Be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.

You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in wrecker/towing or heavy-duty vehicle operations.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CVOR with AZ/DZ license
  • The ability to perform heavy physical work with constant activities includes balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
