What You’ll Be Working On

Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We’ll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment.

We are seeking a student to join us for a 4 month co-op position starting in May 2025. This position will be based out of Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities:

• Support the company culture that encompasses the highest ethical standards and is aligned with the corporation’s core values.

Social Media:

• Develop and produce engaging social media content
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
• Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
• Support the implementation of LinkedIn Life
• Produce social campaigns for strategic marketing initiatives

Website:

• Support with website content, updates, and development as required

Brand Marketing:

• Support brand compliance across all Business Groups and Districts
• Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure that branding is consistent on all external platforms
• Support content gathering and research as required for the Strategic Development team

Who We Need On Our Team

• You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related discipline.
• You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently
• Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships
• Familiarity or desire to learn Adobe Creative Suite programs is considered an asset
• Exemplify the Ideal Team Player – Hungry, Humble, Smart
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals
• Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
• You must be legally entitled to work in Canada as of your start date and for the duration of your employment.
