As a Civil Engineering Designer working in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will create innovative designs and bring concepts and ideas to life. Working on large-scale construction and wind farm projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you'll be at the centre of a synergistic design process, collaborating with project, surveying and electrical design teams.

What You Will Do

• Interpret standards for forest road designs;
• Interpret templates for transporting turbine components, specifically wind turbine blades;
• Design horizontal and vertical road layouts while adhering to design parameters;
• Design work areas for project activities;
• Design drainage systems required for roads and work areas;
• Develop the layout of the collector network in accordance with electrical designer guidelines;
• Create plans at different stages of the design process;
• Perform quantity calculations for various materials needed in the construction of roads, work areas, and drainage systems.
  
  

This role could be for you if you have

• Hold a technical diploma in civil engineering, a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or possess relevant experience;
• Have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role;
• Possess excellent proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD software;
• Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and precision;
• Be autonomous and enjoy working in a team.
  
  

Additional Asset Include

• Knowledge of ArcGIS software.
