Reporting to the Director Business Development, Aircraft Sales, the Marketing Researcher for Business Aviation is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to aircraft availability, valuation, buyer and seller behavior, and overall market trends.. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Business Aviation team, supporting sale activities including research, prospecting, utilizing marketing and analysis programs, market segmentation, and strategy
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Market research and analysis using various tools and programs on all aircraft segments;
- Identify key trends and provide competitive intelligence on market dynamics relating to availability of aircraft on the market; including identification of distressed aircraft for purchase, tear down and parts resale;
- Identify key markets to drive potential sale volume and build out pipeline (sales forecasting); including researching addressable markets for aircraft management opportunities
- Conduct and track market industry evaluations;
- Utilize market analysis to identify specific aircraft to target/‘cold call’ for potential purchase or sale.
- Develop data models and reporting tools to drive business insights through regular reporting and follow-up with the Sales team;
- Proactively provide analytical guidance to support sales efforts based on deep understanding of the business and changes in the business aviation market;
- Manage projects pipeline to ensure agreed upon timelines are met.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing/Data Analysis, Business Administration or similar is required;
- 2-3 years' experience in private or business aviation is required;
- Understanding of private jet types is a must;
- Strong analytical skills; able to organize and interpret data and create visual results;
- Highly resourceful, can work well autonomously and as part of a team;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Exceptional computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Tableau/PowerBI;
- Ability to organize high volume of data into visual aids;
- Working knowledge of CRMs like Salesforce, Netsuite and Hubspot is considered an asset;.Highly organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
