West Kelowna UPCC
The West Kelowna Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) focuses on providing urgent and primary care to both attached and unattached patients in the Central Okanagan Primary Care Network (PCN). The UPCC provides urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening injuries, illnesses and conditions that should be addressed within 12 to 24 hours, but do not require the service and expertise of a hospital emergency department (CTAS 3,4,5).
The UPCC offers work-life balance with competitive wages, within a group services contract providing flexible hours and days and the contract group self schedules. Work in a larger-than-life landscape and four season’s playground.
Practice Details
The West Kelowna UPCC is seeking family physicians to locum this summer! Dates and shifts are flexible.
The West Kelowna UPCC is open 7 days a week from 11:30 – 8:30, with multiple shifts options to choose from.
Travel and accommodation incentives are available.
A locum at the West Kelowna UPCC means working a rewarding day shift and then heading down to Okanagan Lake for a sunset paddleboard or kayak before grabbing dinner at one of the many outstanding restaurants in West Kelowna. On a day off you can cycle along the Kettle Valley Rail Trail or take a hike to discover stunning views of the Okanagan Valley. If you’re an adventure seeker, you will love mountain biking in West Kelowna, with trails for all skill levels. To slow things down, you can visit the farmer’s markets, local fruit markets and wineries that surround West Kelowna. All of this, plus so much more, make West Kelowna the perfect place to combine work and play this summer!
