What You Will Do:

  • Coach and drive PMO and functional business leaders and their teams to continuously improve their project execution maturity and performance, ensuring on-time and on-budget project performance.
  • Integrate lean thinking into processes covering the entire lifecycle of a project, from purchase order to final installation and acceptance.
  • Lead and build the ABM Project Execution Center of Excellence and toolkit; provide central governance and expertise in project execution processes and tools.
  • Work with leaders to define and implement project execution KPIs and develop strategies to maximize impact on these metrics.
  • Drive ABM Fundamentals: aligned metrics, Daily Visual Management, structured Problem Solving, and Kaizen events to improve project execution performance.
  • Engage and coach employees on behaviors that build a culture of a “winning team” through leadership, process discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Continuously improve the ABM Project Execution toolkit through benchmarking of best practices.
  • Assist business leaders in achieving Goal Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives focused on project execution priorities.
  • Provide expert facilitation for Kaizen events and other ABM engagements related to project execution.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years in Project Management roles, managing project financials and execution processes.
  • Completion of Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple large and/or complex projects concurrently.
  • 10+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams, preferably in automation or systems integration.
  • Experience using lean tools, structured problem solving, and Kaizen events to drive change.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in project management processes.
  • Ability to communicate project management principles effectively.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of business financial metrics and POC accounting.
  • Superior communication skills across all organization levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Project/Program Management software is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to global sites.
