Role Impact:
To provide dispatch communication to Security Guards regarding incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc., and log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions, and to direct back-up support as necessary and to provide indirect supervision of security officers.

What you will deliver:
- Dispatch Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc.
- Log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions
- Direct back-up support as necessary
- Inform management of major incidents
- Assist in maintenance of Card Index System
- Maintain the Camera Surveillance System
- Conduct security equipment audits
- Maintain key control, lost and found and emergency contact lists
- Provide training and coaching on an ad-hoc basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A valid provincial Security License (if required)
- A Security Diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years experience with a security firm or similar background
- A minimum of 2 years experience at retail and office mixed use complex
- A working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act
- The ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- A strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (asset)
