When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We’re seeking a mid-career Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist based in Toronto, Canada to work on site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients. You’ll gain valuable field experience with environmental sampling techniques and subcontractor oversight. You’ll balance your field work with some time spent in the office working on data interpretation and visualization, quantitative modeling, report writing and coordinating field work.
You’ll have the opportunity to help create a more sustainable world by ensuring environmental compliance, environmental management, and health and safety while working on diverse projects. Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or preferred), Geology, or Environmental Science.
- 2-5 years of experience within environmental consulting or related field.
- Ability to travel for field projects
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- Experience with field methods for site characterization like soil logging, sampling soil, water, or soil vapor, and monitoring well installation.
- Experience working on project sites and overseeing subcontractors
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or preferred), Geology, or Environmental Science.
- Professional registration (e.g., Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist) or the desire/ability to obtain and maintain professional certification.
